Tasks
- Plan and deliver engaging choir sessions for Pre-K and Primary students
- Focus on musical development, vocal skills, rhythm, and confidence-building
- Support the wider performing arts programme and school performances
- Design and implement an age-appropriate programme based on a defined scheme of work
- Cover areas such as singing, rhythm, pitch, listening skills, and basic musical expression
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment
- Encourage participation, enjoyment, and confidence in young learners
- Introduce students to a variety of songs, styles, and simple harmonies
- Prepare students for performances and showcases through structured rehearsals
- Maintain clear records of lesson planning, student engagement, and development
- Use school technology to communicate with families
- Communicate effectively and regularly with parents and reporting line
- Organize, coordinate, and supervise choir performances and events
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the school’s performing arts programme
- Undertake other duties as assigned
