Requirements

  • At least two years of professional experience in operational purchasing
  • Solid knowledge of SAP ERP systems; experience with S/4HANA is considered an advantage
  • Confident and experienced in working with SAP and common MS Office tools
  • Strong communication skills in both German and English, written and spoken
  • Collaborative mindset and proactive, solution-oriented working style
  • Relevant further education aligned with the area of expertise is desirable

Tasks

  • Purchase materials according to technical specifications
  • Manage supplier relationships and ensure contract compliance
  • Support internal stakeholders with a focus on cost, quality, and delivery
  • Oversee the full purchasing cycle from PO validation to order delivery
  • Resolve day-to-day purchasing issues and invoice queries
  • Track supplier performance against key performance indicators
  • Ensure material availability and manage inventory levels
  • Maintain master data and resolve gaps with Category Management
  • Monitor and optimize the MRP process, addressing gaps with Power users
  • Process invoices and create credit/debit notes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
  • Ensure adherence to supply agreements and preferred vendor lists
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in procurement
  • Provide operational support to internal clients and collaborate on purchasing decisions
