Supporting international students in a boarding house, ensuring smooth daily operations and weekend engagement. Degree level qualification and high English comprehension essential. Accommodation, food during term, and full season ski pass provided.
Requirements
- Degree level qualification
- Native English speaker or high level of English comprehension
- Good level of French (helpful but not essential)
- Good IT skills
- Experience working with young people in a residential setting (helpful but not essential)
- Enthusiasm and willingness to get involved in activities
- Team player
- Proactivity and willingness to take initiative
- Confident communication skills
- Good organisation and planning skills
- Good sense of humour
- Ability to form good working relationships within teams
- Willingness to follow internal CPD programme
- European passport holder for compliance with Swiss work permit regulations
Tasks
- Collaborate with the HM and DHM to ensure smooth house operations
- Build relationships with students and support their individual needs
- Maintain a positive and dynamic presence in the house throughout the day and evening
- Assist with house administration as needed
- Engage extensively in the weekend program
- Support 6-8 lessons per week
- Assist with two activities or sports teams during the year
- Provide overnight supervision in the Boarding House
- Help at La Sionnaire during the winter season
- Supervise study sessions
- Work with the Health Centre team to support students and accompany them to appointments
- Perform reception duties
- Facilitate airport transfers
- Attend weekly training and support meetings
- Complete any additional duties as required by the School
