Description

As a Biomarker and Experimental Medicine Leader, you will collaborate with scientists and clinicians to shape biomarker strategies for drug discovery and clinical development, guiding projects from preclinical stages through to phase III approval.

Requirements

• •PhD, MD, or MD/PhD in relevant scientific field
• •At least 5 years of experience in drug development and translational research
• •Experience supporting clinical studies and biomarker plans
• •Deep understanding of mechanisms underlying diseases
• •Strong presentation and leadership skills
• •Critical thinking and data-driven decision making

Tasks

• •Lead multidisciplinary biomarker expert teams
• •Develop biomarker programs for preclinical and clinical projects
• •Guide early biomarker deliverables for preclinical portfolio projects
• •Assume full accountability for clinical biomarker strategy up to phase III
• •Integrate input from technical experts to develop analytical concepts
• •Implement and adjust analytical concepts based on scientific and clinical basis
• •Interpret preclinical and clinical biomarker data
• •Communicate findings to technical experts and senior leadership
• •Prepare biomarker-specific sections in internal and external documents
• •Integrate preclinical, clinical, and real-world data for indication selection
• •Develop patient enrichment options to enhance clinical success
• •Design and lead translational research studies in collaboration with partners
• •Prioritize and harmonize biomarker platforms
• •Stay updated on novel biomarker modalities and technologies
• •Design and implement overarching biomarker strategies in the Discovery area
• •Serve as biomarker lead in Due Diligence teams for licensing evaluations
