You will lead a global category team to optimize supply chain performance and innovation. By aligning sourcing strategies with product roadmaps, you'll drive business growth and ensure long-term sustainability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or preferred Master’s/MBA
  • 10+ years strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience
  • Global category management experience
  • Track record in cost optimization, negotiations, and risk management
  • Preferred experience in industrial, HVAC, or manufacturing sectors
  • Proficiency in procurement systems and analytics tools
  • Understanding of cost modeling, commodity markets, and sourcing
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Ability to influence across functions and cultures
  • Required English and beneficial German, French, or Spanish

Tasks

  • Develop and implement global category strategies
  • Optimize total cost of ownership through innovation
  • Lead costed BOM development and roadmaps
  • Drive dual sourcing and supplier qualification
  • Negotiate long-term agreements and ESG compliance
  • Manage vendor performance data and metrics
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks
  • Establish cross-functional networks with engineering and operations
  • Partner with NPI teams for early supplier involvement
  • Collaborate on responsible sourcing and sustainability
  • Monitor global supply markets and emerging technologies
  • Track market trends and competitive benchmarks
  • Implement VA/VE opportunities with suppliers
  • Lead and develop the category team
  • Champion digital procurement tools and analytics
