Associate Director - Motors, Fans, & Blowers(m/w/x)

Description

You will lead a global category team to optimize supply chain performance and innovation. By aligning sourcing strategies with product roadmaps, you'll drive business growth and ensure long-term sustainability.

Requirements

• •Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or preferred Master’s/MBA
• •10+ years strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience
• •Global category management experience
• •Track record in cost optimization, negotiations, and risk management
• •Preferred experience in industrial, HVAC, or manufacturing sectors
• •Proficiency in procurement systems and analytics tools
• •Understanding of cost modeling, commodity markets, and sourcing
• •Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
• •Ability to influence across functions and cultures
• •Required English and beneficial German, French, or Spanish

Tasks

• •Develop and implement global category strategies
• •Optimize total cost of ownership through innovation
• •Lead costed BOM development and roadmaps
• •Drive dual sourcing and supplier qualification
• •Negotiate long-term agreements and ESG compliance
• •Manage vendor performance data and metrics
• •Identify and mitigate supply chain risks
• •Establish cross-functional networks with engineering and operations
• •Partner with NPI teams for early supplier involvement
• •Collaborate on responsible sourcing and sustainability
• •Monitor global supply markets and emerging technologies
• •Track market trends and competitive benchmarks
• •Implement VA/VE opportunities with suppliers
• •Lead and develop the category team
• •Champion digital procurement tools and analytics
