Associate Director, Compliance – EMEA- Fixed Term Contract(m/w/x)

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 8 years Compliance experience; at least 5 years in biotech/pharma
- Strong knowledge of international compliance frameworks
- Experience supporting direct and partner/distributor markets in EMEA
- Ability to balance compliance risk mitigation with business enablement
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Compliance or audit certification is a plus
Tasks
- Serve as Compliance advisor to EMEA Commercial, Medical, and cross-functional teams
- Provide risk-based guidance on interactions with healthcare professionals, organizations, and patient groups
- Review and approve promotional and medical activities, scientific events, and field engagements
- Partner with IT and other functions to ensure GDPR and local data protection compliance
- Oversee compliance with third-party relationships, including distributors and service providers
- Implement and maintain regional policies, procedures, and monitoring activities
- Conduct risk assessments and provide practical recommendations to address compliance gaps
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees, contractors, and partners
- Enhance processes, systems, and technological tools for accessible and impactful compliance
- Manage investigations and coordinate remediation efforts with HR and other functions
- Promote ethical decision-making and continuous improvement across EMEA functions
