Requirements

  • Strong Financial Services experience in sales or relationship management role
  • Established network of contacts (distinct advantage)
  • Experience in established FX institution, commercial bank, or selling financial instruments to SMEs/corporate clients
  • Solid understanding of compliance requirements
  • Academic background in Business or Finance (plus)
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to win commitment and buy-in
  • Sophisticated technical ability
  • Statistical/fundamental analysis skills
  • Risk management practices knowledge
  • Proven record in identifying/pursuing new business opportunities (upselling, cross-selling, new client acquisition)
  • Skilled negotiator
  • Ability to build/leverage senior-level relationships
  • Fluency in Swiss-German
  • Strong business-level English

  • Manage a portfolio of corporate clients
  • Execute FX hedging, lending, payments, and cash management

  • Ensure a best-in-class client proposition
  • Collaborate with the sales team on business origination
  • Understand client business environments
  • Understand client strategies
  • Understand client industries
  • Provide optimal solutions using Ebury's product suite
  • Analyze competitor capabilities and gaps
  • Position Ebury’s Banking solutions effectively
  • Generate repeat business revenue
  • Generate new business revenue
  • Reduce client churn
  • Upsell multiple relevant products
  • Cross-sell multiple relevant products
  • Increase client wallet-share
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Conduct client meetings
  • Present ideas, proposals, and updates to clients
  • Expand existing business
  • Provide feedback to technology managers
  • Provide feedback to product managers
  • Originate new business
  • Network with existing clients for referrals
