Requirements

  • No prior CERN fellow or graduate contract
  • University degree required
  • Work in Radiation Areas
  • Interventions in underground installations
  • Exposure to electromagnetic fields
  • Medical clearance for OHS risks

Tasks

  • Implement departmental safety policy
  • Identify and prevent risks
  • Monitor risks related to activities, infrastructure, and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and procedures
  • Promote a strong safety culture
  • Maintain a safe and compliant working environment
  • Analyze accidents and hazardous situations
  • Contribute to corrective and preventive actions
  • Support DSO in implementing safety actions
  • Organize planned evacuations
  • Participate in feedback and lessons-learned activities
  • Draft prevention and safety awareness messages
  • Communicate prevention and safety awareness messages
  • Take part in safety inspections
  • Conduct on-site visits to verify compliance
  • Identify areas for improvement
  • Monitor action plans
  • Promote a strong safety culture
