- Never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before
Tasks
- Develop online software for configuration, control, monitoring, and automated calibration.
- Participate in hardware integration and commissioning at CERN.
- Conduct back-end integration tests at the Tracker Integration Facility (TIF).
- Perform slice tests for the Tracker detector.
- Create checkout and calibration procedures with test protocols.
- Scope and implement tools for integration, checkout, commissioning, and calibration.
- Contribute to online and offline software, database interfaces, and web/UI tooling.
- Follow firmware development of back-end boards.
- Possibly contribute to firmware development.
- Supervise team members.
