AOG Technician(m/w/x)
Responding to AOG events and diagnosing aircraft systems on-site for a global aviation services provider. Deep knowledge of aircraft systems and MRO industry required. Frequent travel, irregular hours, continuous learning.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of aircraft systems, troubleshooting techniques, and aerospace MRO industry
- Thriving in high-pressure, time-critical situations with precision and accountability
- Strong communication and coordination skills fostering trust and teamwork
- Customer service orientation and ability to build authentic partnerships
- Embracing dynamic environments, frequent travel, and irregular hours with a can-do attitude
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to safety and excellence
- EASA and/or FAA Part-66 B1 license, B2 highly preferred, multiple relevant aircraft type ratings, Gulfstream ideal, proficiency in English
- Readiness to travel internationally and work independently, upholding Jet Aviation’s values
Tasks
- Respond to AOG events
- Provide on-site maintenance support
- Diagnose aircraft systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Repair electrical systems
- Fix avionics problems
- Address structural concerns
- Minimize aircraft downtime
- Ensure safe return to service
- Collaborate with technical teams
- Work with logistics teams
- Determine corrective actions
- Expedite solutions
- Manage AOG parts logistics
- Source required components
- Coordinate part shipments
- Liaise with customers
- Communicate with OEMs
- Update Jet Aviation bases
- Maintain regulatory compliance
- Follow EASA and FAA standards
- Complete maintenance documentation
- Prepare service reports
- Support return-to-service authorization
- Build customer relationships
- Adapt to irregular hours
- Operate in diverse conditions
- Travel frequently
