Analysis Engineer - Performance/Weight & Balance(m/w/x)
In this role, you will focus on defining performance specifications and validating models based on test results. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with engine suppliers, managing mass properties, and ensuring compliance through detailed analysis and reporting.
Requirements
- University degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Performance or Weight & Balance domain
- Knowledge of helicopter performance analyses and test data models/tools validation
- Knowledge of Mass Properties in aerospace applications
- Working experience with Matlab, CAD tool 'NX', Team Center Unified
- Good communication skills and experience in presenting results
- B2 English level, both verbal and written
- Good team player skills and self-driven attitude
Tasks
- Define aircraft level performance specifications and technical data
- Elaborate, validate, and justify models and tools based on test results
- Liaise with engine suppliers for engine performance model definition
- Manage mass properties methodologies and processes
- Issue load sheets for flight operations
- Populate aircraft weight and balance load cases with cabin layouts, optional kits, payload, and fuel
- Verify compliance with certification envelopes
- Prepare analysis reports and interpret analysis results, including type certification compliance
