- Solid Python software development experience
- Practical LLM frameworks knowledge (LangChain, LlamaIndex)
- Hands-on RAG pipelines building experience
- Vector databases, chunking, embedding techniques experience
- Agentic AI orchestration approaches familiarity
- Model Context Protocol (MCP) familiarity
- Rapid expertise development in MCP
- LLM evaluation and safety frameworks understanding
- LLM reliability, quality, responsible deployment assessment
- MLOps practices experience
- CI/CD workflows experience
- Clear technical documentation writing ability
- Complex ideas communication to diverse audiences

Tasks
- Design and develop AI solutions for accelerator control systems
- Collaborate with the BE-CSS group and ATS
- Contribute to the ATS AI Core Team
- Provide expertise in LLM and agentic AI systems
- Develop secure knowledge connectors and safe agent deployment patterns
- Engage in hands-on software development
- Lead cross-group collaboration and technical initiatives
- Identify and implement AI capabilities in group applications
- Design LLM-based solutions and chatbots
- Work with CERN IT on MLOps substrate
- Contribute to reusable AI patterns and evaluation frameworks
- Align AI solutions with operational needs and standards
- Support other AI-related initiatives in BE-CSS and ATS
- Help define central AI infrastructure for ATS
- Contribute to shared AI tooling and reference architectures
- Promote safe and efficient AI adoption practices
