- •MSc or PhD in a quantitative field
- •9+ years of experience in AI/ML solution development
- •Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- •Deep expertise in image analysis, pattern recognition, and machine learning
- •Highly skilled with scientific programming languages and high-performance computing
- •Deep expertise in software engineering practices and production infrastructure
- •Capacity for independent thinking and decision-making
- •Excellent strategic agility, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- •Respect for cultural differences in a global workplace
- •Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- •Track record of scientific publications or patents in AI and digital health
- •Experience with clinical validation of AI tools and regulatory submission support
- •Knowledge of Roche systems and clinical development processes

- •Design and deploy AI/ML solutions for clinical development
- •Develop AI-based solutions to enhance clinical trial design and success
- •Collaborate with clinicians and data scientists to integrate machine learning solutions
- •Support deployment of AI/ML algorithms to clinical trial teams and external partners
- •Identify high-value use cases for advanced analytics and AI in clinical research
- •Assist in external molecule asset due diligence using algorithms on third-party datasets
- •Serve as a subject matter expert in multimodal data analysis
- •Architect advanced deep learning workflows and MLOps frameworks
- •Act as a technical lead in cross-functional projects and guide junior scientists
- •Communicate the scientific rationale and business value of AI solutions to stakeholders
- •Monitor advancements in AI and evaluate their applicability in clinical settings
