Requirements
- Studies in IT/Controlling/Economics or relevant Controlling/Finance experience with IT/Digital focus
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis skills
- Good understanding of IT cost structures, digital investments, business cases
- Analytical mindset for trend, risk, optimization identification
- Experience developing reports, dashboards, presentations
- Proactive and collaborative working style
- Strong affinity for process improvement and automation
- Very good Excel skills
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) is a plus
- Strong communication skills for explaining financial topics
- Fluent English
- German is a plus
Tasks
- Partner with the IT team for financial insights
- Support IT performance improvement initiatives
- Lead IT budgeting and forecasting
- Coordinate IT variance analysis
- Support financial evaluation of IT investments
- Provide transparency on IT investment costs and benefits
- Analyze IT investment KPIs
- Develop and monitor IT KPIs and cost drivers
- Highlight IT trends and risks
- Support month-end close activities
- Support year-end close activities
- Identify process improvements in reporting
- Identify automation opportunities in reporting
- Identify process improvements in controlling
- Identify automation opportunities in controlling
- Prepare dashboards for strategic decisions
- Prepare management reports for strategic decisions
- Prepare business cases for strategic decisions
- Collaborate with Finance teams
- Collaborate with IT teams
- Collaborate with Procurement teams
Education
- Currently in higher education
Languages
- English – Fluent
- German – Basic
