Requirements
- Degree in Facilities Management, Business, Engineering, or related
- 5+ years facilities management experience
- 2+ years in leadership role
- Knowledge of facilities management principles and practices
- Experience managing large-scale client accounts
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset for process improvement
- Proficiency in facilities management software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) plus
- IFMA certifications (e.g., FMP, CFM) desirable
Tasks
- Oversee daily facilities management operations
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and minor projects
- Develop facilities management policies and procedures
- Monitor and analyze facilities performance metrics
- Manage vendors to ensure high-quality delivery
- Lead and mentor a diverse professional team
- Conduct performance evaluations and set objectives
- Act as the primary contact for senior stakeholders
- Communicate project updates and strategic recommendations
- Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly
- Identify service improvements and cost efficiencies
- Develop strategies to optimize facilities processes
- Propose new service offerings based on market trends
- Collaborate with sales on upselling opportunities
- Assist with budget preparation and expense control
- Prepare financial reports for management and clients
- Implement innovative solutions for operational efficiency
- Lead change management and continuous improvement initiatives
