Requirements

  • M.Sc. degree in environmental geochemistry, chemistry, geosciences, or biogeochemistry
  • Strong interest in organic-mineral interactions and environmental processes
  • Laboratory working experience
  • Familiarity with mineral surface chemistry or organic matter characterization
  • Experience with analytical techniques (e.g., XRD, UV-visible spectroscopy, chromatography, qPCR, or similar)
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Curious, independent, proactive, and motivated personality

Tasks

  • Conduct research on organic–mineral interactions
  • Investigate mineralogy and surface properties
  • Study molecular characteristics of organic matter
  • Work on dissertation and ensure timely completion
  • Publish research in top international journals
  • Present research at international conferences
  • Teach courses as per collective agreement
  • Perform administrative tasks in research and teaching
  • Supervise master students
