- Experience in academic writing (highly desirable)
- Solid background in experimental quantum optics, opto-mechanics, and optical or diamagnetic levitation
- Experience with homodyne and heterodyne detection, programming
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
Tasks
- Participate in a well-funded research project on quantum control
- Present research plan to faculty within 12-18 months
- Complete and adapt dissertation agreement annually
- Work independently on dissertation with team support
- Contribute to teaching lab courses and exercise classes
- Handle administrative tasks for research and teaching
- Stay updated on the latest developments in your field
- Publish research, present at conferences, and engage in public outreach
