Requirements
- University degree or higher technical education in Materials Science, Mechanical, Industrial or Chemical Engineering
- Proven experience as engineer or process engineer in relevant production environment
- Strong knowledge of process engineering in IC substrates, assembly, IC packaging or related semiconductor industries
- Proven experience with Six Sigma tools (SPC, DOE, FMEA, MSA, 8D, 5‑Why, CP) and data‑driven decision making
- Proficiency with MS Office, JMP, Minitab, SAP and process control systems
- Fluent English skills; German knowledge is an advantage
- High stress resilience, attention to detail, willingness to work in cleanroom environments and overtime
- Open‑minded personality with strong teamwork skills and experience in intercultural collaborations
Tasks
- Act as a technical role model for production processes
- Ensure a stable production environment
- Collaborate with Process and R&D Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, and Operations
- Lead and develop a production team of approximately 8 people
- Train the production team with a strong improvement mindset
- Ensure high-yield, cost-efficient, and lean production processes
- Define and select suitable process tools and tooling
- Support equipment engineering topics
- Contribute to process documentation for assigned tools
- Support production planning activities
- Perform customer support
- Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations
- Manage suppliers for process equipment
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
