In this role, you will blend strategic oversight with technical direction, leading the Technology Department to ensure that games are built on innovative and scalable technology while fostering collaboration and professional growth within the team.

Requirements

• •Experience in game development processes
• •Minimum of 10 years of experience in professional game development
• •Experience in strategic, operational, and financial management
• •Strong knowledge of Unreal Engine 5, C++, and software architecture principles
• •Broad understanding of Tech Art, Tools & Pipeline development
• •Ability to lead multiple teams and manage budgets
• •Experience implementing scalable production pipelines
• •Strong communication and leadership skills
• •Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• •Strategic thinking with a hands-on mentality

Tasks

• •Provide strategic leadership for the Technology Department
• •Define and implement the technical vision for future games
• •Oversee structure, processes, and quality standards in tech areas
• •Collaborate with Art Director and Game Director for workflow integration
• •Manage and control the department's budget and resources
• •Drive adoption of new technologies in game development
• •Establish and refine technical pipelines and toolsets
• •Mentor department Leads and promote professional growth
• •Foster a culture of innovation and open communication
• •Act as the main contact for technical decisions and coordination
• •Ensure financial and production goals are consistently met
• •Supervise department Leads and encourage collaboration
• •Evaluate and implement new technologies for productivity
• •Conduct evaluations and feedback sessions with team members
• •Drive process optimization and quality assurance frameworks
• •Represent the Technology Department in management meetings
