Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer(m/w/x)
Supplier quality assurance for satellite and launch vehicle components. Develop CTQ and control plans, coach practical elements. EN9100, ECSS, NASA standards knowledge required. Hybrid work, flexible hours.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in Quality and Continuous Improvement
- BSc/MSc degree in Engineering or similar
- Knowledge of EN9100, ECSS, IPC, NASA and MIL standards
- Ability to understand and analyse technical products/systems
- High theoretical skills, adept at coaching practical elements
- Excellent written and oral English communication
- MS Office experience
- Experience applying Quality preventive methodology (5Why, Ishikawa)
- Additional language (German, French, Swedish) beyond English
- Experience in other Space companies
- IPC J-STD 001 and/or ECSS-Q-ST-70-60C inspection certificate
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent critical thinking, analytical, leadership, interpersonal skills
- High enthusiasm and passion for quality and continuous improvements
- Brave and communicative, used to asking tough questions
- 5% to 10% ability to travel nationally and internationally
Tasks
- Act as main interface for quality-related topics with suppliers
- Develop Quality Assurance Requirements and Culture
- Ensure robust quality processes and cost excellence
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and supply chain
- Develop Process Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) and Control Plans
- Moderate Supplier Process FMEA
- Support Process and Product Qualification at suppliers
- Engage with M&P, Component, and Design Engineering
- Contribute to Customer and Internal Audits
- Execute Supplier Quality Assurance Program
- Ensure compliance with Customer, Regulatory, and Internal Requirements
- Perform Hardware Inspections
- Document Key Inspection Point (KIP) and Mandatory Inspection Point (MIP)
- Verify Critical Features and Requirements
- Lead or support Non-Conformance Management
- Lead or support Supplier Critical Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and investigations
- Contribute to Customer Satisfaction for Quality Performance
- Monitor Supplier Quality Performance
- Develop Supplier Development strategies
- Provide input to Product Quality data-package for Space Application
- Contribute to Final Product Qualification data-package for Space Application
- Conduct Supplier Root Cause Analysis and Non-Conformance Reports
