Requirements

  • M. Sc. Electrical Engineering/Engineering Physics or equivalent education/experience
  • Basic understanding of electrical hardware design
  • Good communication skills (dialogue and writing)
  • Ability to plan and execute tasks independently
  • Professional communication with internal/external interfaces
  • English language skills (dialogue and writing)
  • Experience as technical customer support for electronics parts
  • Experience with industry standards (ECSS, ESCC, MIL, IPC)
  • Understanding of trade compliances (ITAR, EAR, EU Dual Use)
  • Knowledge of the space industry and market
  • Interest in peripheral component engineering aspects (cost, logistics)
  • Understanding of radiation effects on electronic equipment
  • Experience in component construction analysis
  • Collaborative and creative mindset

Tasks

  • Conduct parts incoming inspections
  • Support on-site electronics parts failure investigations
  • Support product development and operations
  • Act as a core team member in projects
  • Ensure task execution aligns with stakeholder requirements
  • Select and qualify EEE components for space applications
  • Define new company standards for components
  • Create procurement specifications and inspection instructions
  • Drive EEE component analysis and test methods
  • Select appropriate testing methods and standards
  • Interpret test results
  • Monitor EEE parts obsolescence
  • Communicate parts alerts
  • Participate in obsolescence review boards
  • Serve as the point of contact for technical parts clarifications
  • Request quotations and lead times
  • Participate in Non Conformance Review Board
  • Propose technical solutions for non-conformances
  • Support corrective actions
  • Perform basic root cause analysis
  • Support First Article Inspection
  • Prevent non-conformance occurrence through on-site production support
  • Support technical audits in relevant fields
  • Understand trade compliance and global export regulations
  • Support export control manager with component lists
