Requirements

  • Outstanding technical capabilities and leadership skills
  • Diploma or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Extensive experience in robotics and automation
  • Analytical and structured working methodology
  • Programming according to IEC 61131-3 Structured Text
  • Expert in Object-oriented programming
  • Experience with CANopen and EtherCAT
  • Experience with DC motor control systems
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as SVN/GIT and Azure DevOps/GitHub
  • Experience in System and Reliability Engineering
  • Strong documentation skills and practical experience in developing models
  • Stakeholder management and networking skills
  • Experience in common Quality methods
  • Experience with MS Project or similar project management tool
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Team player with strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in English; German language skills are desirable

  • Develop control algorithms
  • Ensure PLC and machine control functionality
  • Commission systems across diverse projects
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Lead automation projects and track milestones
  • Contribute to system architecture and design
  • Evaluate and select components for projects
  • Implement and verify control system designs
  • Stay updated on emerging control technologies
  • Recommend process and design improvements
  • Build relationships with project managers and engineers
  • Follow regulatory requirements and design procedures
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
