Requirements
- •9 years experience with Undergraduate, 8 with Graduate, or 7 with Doctorate
- •Degree in Public Policy, Law, International Relations, or relevant field
- •Experience in international policy analysis and development
- •Management of cross-cultural internal and external relationships
- •Experience drafting protection strategies and advocacy materials
- •Coordination of UN interventions in humanitarian contexts
- •Solid experience in lobbying and government advocacy
- •Strong experience in research and concept papers
- •Commitment to safe and inclusive working environments
- •Proactivity in preventing and responding to misconduct
- •Extensive experience with multilateral processes and refugee protection
- •Deep understanding of GCR implementation modalities
- •Ability to manage cross-functional teams across divisions
- •Understanding of UNHCR mandate and internal procedures
- •Expertise in sustainable responses and multi-stakeholder engagement
- •Excellent drafting, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- •Accountability and analytical thinking

- •Draft UNHCR positions on assigned protection and solutions issues
- •Interpret international instruments for forcibly displaced and stateless persons
- •Develop and evaluate regional political and social development information
- •Represent the organization in inter-agency policy development processes
- •Prepare strategies and public papers on thematic areas
- •Foster partnerships with governments and the private sector
- •Draft policy papers for high-level regional events
- •Prepare oral briefings and written talking points
- •Align country-specific strategies with regional and corporate priorities
- •Review operations plans and conduct field missions
- •Lead risk assessments and integrate risk management into decisions
- •Oversee Global Compact on Refugees implementation and pledging frameworks
- •Coordinate multi-stakeholder processes for high-level global dialogues
- •Supervise a small unit and manage team resources
