Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer(m/w/x)
Process ramp-up and troubleshooting for novel sorbent filter production lines. Continuous manufacturing and powder handling experience required. Collaboration with R&D, quality, and design teams.
Requirements
- Degree in process, manufacturing, mechanical engineering, materials science, or similar
- Experience with continuous manufacturing lines including powder handling processes (HSE regulations and ATEX requirements)
- Logic-driven, experienced with process modeling and risk-identification/problem-solving tools
- Initiative, results-driven, detail-oriented, hands-on throughout development cycle
- Easy collaboration across teams, clear communication, enjoyment of leading projects
- Fluent English and at least B1-level German proficiency
- Knowledge of French is an advantage
- Openness to frequent travel (up to 60%)
Tasks
- Lead manufacturing process ramp-up
- Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis
- Conduct process FMEAs before, during, and after startup
- Ensure thorough documentation and training
- Collaborate with R&D, quality, and product design teams
- Support development of new testing methods
- Act as a technical expert in external collaborations
- Monitor external operations to meet DAC-specific requirements
- Support lab-scale manufacturing in R&D
- Evaluate new concepts for future DAC solutions
- Understand and manage process parameters
- Evaluate and tune parameter ranges for equipment
- Transfer knowledge and ensure high-quality sorbent module production
