Producing and characterizing sorbent materials and filter modules for material development. Hands-on lab work experience in chemical labs or adsorption characterization required. Six-month internship, hybrid work setup with onsite at least four days per week.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, mechanical engineering, process engineering, materials science, or related discipline
- Hands-on lab work experience in chemical labs, failure analysis, water and gas analysis, characterization of porous materials, adsorption characterization, or prototyping
- Reliability, motivation, solution-oriented and structured working approach
- Clear communication, resilience, and self-reliance in research environment
- English fluency and comfort in international, interdisciplinary environment
Tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Characterize sorbent materials and filter modules
- Produce sorbent materials and filter modules
- Advance material development
- Conduct mechanical testing
- Develop analytical methodologies
- Perform independent experimentation
- Design hypothesis-driven experiments
- Contribute to sorbent structure optimization
