Requirements

  • Senior network engineering experience (enterprise scale)
  • Expert knowledge of routing and switching
  • Expert knowledge of Wi-Fi and VPN
  • Expert knowledge of firewall technologies
  • Strong L3 troubleshooting and RCA skills
  • Performance analysis skills
  • Experience with monitoring platforms
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or ServiceNow
  • Fluent English
  • German skills (beneficial)
  • Additional CEE languages (advantageous)

Tasks

  • Provide 3rd-level troubleshooting and escalation handling
  • Take ownership of complex network incidents
  • Contribute to network architecture and modernization
  • Support SD-WAN, NGFW, and segmentation initiatives
  • Perform capacity planning and network optimization
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Business Units
  • Ensure operational stability and clear stakeholder communication
  • Lead technical work packages in strategic initiatives
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for security components
  • Maintain technical standards and operational excellence
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
  • Analyze, prioritize, and resolve ITIL-based incidents
  • Document all incident management processes

  • 5 years

Education

  • Bachelor's degreeOR
