Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as a chemistry or biology laboratory technician
  • First hands-on laboratory experience or fresh graduate
  • Knowledge of GxP and chemical laboratory conduct rules
  • Good IT user knowledge of Excel and SAP
  • Fluency in English; German proficiency advantageous
  • Quality-oriented personality and understanding of customer service
  • Openness to customer concerns and process improvement

Tasks

  • Annotate and register all samples
  • Receive and hand over samples using tracking systems
  • Ship samples and prepare shipment documents
  • Order cool and frozen transports
  • Provide samples and documents to the courier
  • Take over samples from the lab
  • Check completeness of shipped materials and documents
  • Store samples in appropriate conditions in fridges and freezers
  • Document storage and transfer of samples in the inventory system
  • Label incoming and outgoing samples
  • Aliquot samples as needed
  • Review qualification documentation
  • Coordinate maintenance activities as needed
  • Perform temperature monitoring every three months
  • Prepare formal invoices for customs activities
  • Help create work instructions and SOPs for laboratory services
