Requirements
- Technical education (Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, Water/Wastewater, or similar)
- 1-4 years experience in Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Support, Inside Sales Engineer, Application Engineer, or similar technical B2B role
- Relevant internships or thesis experience considered for early-career profiles
- Background or exposure to water and/or wastewater treatment
- Experience with UV disinfection is a strong plus
- Willingness to be based in Austria
- Predominantly on-site presence
- Mandatory fluency in German
- Mandatory fluency in English
- French is a plus
Tasks
- Provide technical sales support to channel partners
- Provide commercial sales support to channel partners
- Focus on quotations
- Focus on technical clarification
- Ensure Salesforce data accuracy
- Support efficient opportunity progression
- Ensure compliance with commercial processes
- Respond to technical inquiries on product selection
- Respond to technical inquiries on system configuration
- Respond to technical inquiries on applications
- Coordinate with Engineering
- Coordinate with Product Management
- Coordinate with Operations
- Prepare accurate technical quotations
- Prepare accurate commercial quotations
- Support RFQs for pre-engineered UV systems
- Provide tender clarifications
- Maintain accurate opportunity data in Salesforce
- Maintain accurate quote data in Salesforce
- Maintain accurate account data in Salesforce
- Ensure compliance with sales processes
- Ensure data quality standards
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support order handover
- Drive continuous improvement of sales support processes
- Drive continuous improvement of sales support tools
