Regional Sales Manager – Specialty Medicines(m/w/x)
Leading and coaching a regional team of sales representatives to accelerate medical treatments. 5 years' pharmaceutical field sales and 2 years' people management experience required. Strategic role in a highly cross-functional environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' pharmaceutical field sales experience (specialty/secondary care preferred)
- Minimum 2 years' field sales people management experience
- Strong coaching, performance management, and execution capability
- Effective operation in matrix and across multiple stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in life sciences, business, or related discipline
- Desirable experience in immunology, gastroenterology, or dermatology
- Desirable prior multi-country/cluster leadership experience
- Legally qualified to work in country of employment
- Fluent local native language and business-level English
- Valid driving license
- Ability to travel up to 70% across assigned countries
Tasks
- Lead, coach, and develop a regional team of Specialty Sales Representatives.
- Drive regional performance against sales, activity, and quality KPIs.
- Implement national and regional strategies aligned with partner objectives.
- Drive consistent execution, adapting for local markets.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Medical, Market Access, Training, and Operations teams.
- Monitor performance using CRM data and field insights.
- Take corrective action when required.
- Support regional talent development, succession planning, and capability building.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, partner requirements, and industry codes.
