Project Manager Railways Projects(m/w/x)
Managing railway infrastructure projects, ensuring milestone adherence and resource control. 2-3 years PM experience in railway projects required. Flexible working practices, PMP certification a plus.
Requirements
- Bachelor or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- 2–3 years experience as Project Manager in railway or industrial application projects
- PMP certification is an advantage
- Very good knowledge of MS Office tools (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability to motivate and empower team members
- Strong communication skills, clear information conveyance, stakeholder alignment, expectation management
- Fluency in French, B2 level in English; German is a plus
Tasks
- Drive adherence to contractual milestones
- Monitor project progress, risks, and opportunities
- Oversee project execution using best practices and guidelines
- Control project progress and resource utilization
- Represent the customer voice internally
- Act as key customer contact and escalation point
- Build strong, trust-based stakeholder relationships
- Provide regular project reporting to the PMO
- Facilitate effective and timely communication with internal stakeholders
- Support information flow as required
- Apply accountability principles to escalate deviations or claims
- Support corrective actions and escalations
- Manage customer change requests
- Collect and document customer change requests
- Coordinate variation offers with stakeholders
- Follow through on orders, delivery, and invoicing
- Monitor project financials with the project controller
- Maintain documentation accuracy
- Drive capture and sharing of lessons learned
