Developing long-term personalization mechanisms for vehicle context and customer behavior using agentic AI at automotive innovation hub. Doctoral studies degree in STEM and deep understanding of agentic AI/ML concepts required. 35-hour work week, 30 vacation days.
Requirements
- Good to very good university degree for doctoral studies in mathematics, physics, computer science, data science, electrical engineering, or related field
- Advanced coding proficiency, including data processing, optimization techniques, and software engineering best practices
- Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts (generative models, agentic architectures, multi-modal systems)
- Experience with applied AI research (model training/fine-tuning, benchmarking, experimental prototypes)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, ideally demonstrated through thesis work, publications, or research projects
- German language proficiency A2
- English language proficiency C1
Tasks
- Develop, analyze, and evaluate long-term personalization mechanisms adapting to customer behavior, vehicle context, and environmental factors
- Investigate methods for integrating diverse inputs into adaptive personalization strategies
- Design user-transparent, user-controllable interfaces for customer data management
- Research long-term stability and consistency of personalization
- Develop validation methodologies for personalization
- Create mechanisms to maintain reliable personalization over extended vehicle usage
- Identify and evaluate responsible-AI guardrails for handling long-term personalized data
