Medical review operations optimization for healthcare products, analyzing in-country metrics and ensuring cross-functional alignment. Doctorate in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Medical Degree required. Corporate health management, Pfizer in Balance program.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Medical Degree
- 1-2 years relevant experience for medical graduates, PhDs, or life sciences master’s; 3+ years for science graduates
- Preferred experience in medical writing/review within agency, CRO, or Pharma/Biotech
- Experience collaborating with global stakeholders and managing tight timelines
- Experience in medical content creation or promotional material review preferred
- Experience conducting medical review or QC of regulatory documents preferred
Tasks
- Serve as a Medical Review Subject Matter Expert.
- Act as the main contact for Medical Review.
- Identify strategic opportunities for service improvement.
- Optimize in-country operations and cross-functional alignment.
- Analyze in-country metrics.
- Provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
- Collaborate with CMAO categories and country teams.
- Drive engagement with Medical and Marketing.
- Lead process documentation and improvement initiatives.
- Maintain scientific knowledge of Pfizer medicines.
- Stay informed on competitor products.
- Advocate for appropriate medicine use.
- Partner with cross-functional teams.
- Develop compliant promotional and non-promotional materials.
- Provide medical, scientific, and regulatory guidance.
- Review materials for health authority submissions.
- Advise on risk management plans and aRMM.
- Support creation and review of internal training materials.
- Ensure activities meet ethical and regulatory standards.
- Support content needs for Medical and Marketing.
- Support corporate and social media content.
- Build relationships with leadership and stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate in-country communication and workflows.
- Support compliant above-country activities.
- Contribute to local compliance strategy.
- Support regulatory labeling and maintenance activities.
- Manage code and regulatory complaints.
- Advise on corrective actions.
- Act as a super-user and change leader for the electronic approval system.
- Serve as the Final Country Signatory.
- Perform medical and scientific review for compliance.
- Provide solution-oriented feedback for content.
- Maintain knowledge of medicines, competitors, and regulations.
- Stay updated on Pfizer policies.
- Deliver training on regulatory and promotional requirements.
- Handle promotional complaints with the Medical Lead.
- Support audits and inspections.
- Drive pilot initiatives for medical support services.
- Transition new services into business-as-usual.
- Develop processes and workflows for efficiency.
- Increase stakeholder value.
- Support rapid and accurate execution of improvements.
- Manage cross-functional projects.
- Ensure smooth transition to BAU.
- Create and lead operational processes for Medical Review.
- Lead processes for partner functions.
- Collaborate with transformation teams.
- Design and deliver innovative CMO solutions.
