Analytical characterization of biopharmaceuticals using state-of-the-art mass spectrometry at a biopharmaceutical research firm. University degree (preferably PhD) and practical experience with complex analytical equipment required. On-site childcare facilities.

Requirements

  • University degree (preferably PhD) in a relevant area or equivalent
  • Can-do mentality, adaptability to changes, and enthusiasm for digitalization and process automation
  • Excellent knowledge of analytical approaches and practical experience in handling complex analytical equipment
  • Excellent in MS data evaluation software and computer tools
  • Proficient with laboratory and/or technical equipment
  • Proficient scientific/technical writing and presentation skills
  • Future-Ready/Digital First mindset leveraging data and digital tools
  • Full professional proficiency in spoken and written English; knowledge of German is a plus
  • Broad knowledge in protein/peptide/glycan separation approaches
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and R

Tasks

  • Design and plan analytical experiments using state-of-the-art equipment
  • Document and review raw data, evaluating and interpreting results
  • Manage and maintain analytical equipment as an expert
  • Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Write protocols, scientific reports, and procedures independently
  • Develop and optimize analytical methods and implement new technologies
  • Conduct literature searches and facilitate knowledge exchange
  • Collaborate with other groups and lead associates on scientific tasks
  • Participate in or lead function-specific sub-teams and project tasks
