Physical chemical method development (HPLC, CE) for biologics drug substance/product in pharmaceutical R&D. 3+ years (PhD) or 6+ years (MSc) in biopharmaceutical industry with Biologics DS/DP process development expertise required. Childcare facilities available.

Requirements

  • University degree in pharmaceutical technology, biotechnology, biochemistry, chemistry, chemical engineering, or relevant natural science discipline
  • At least 3 years (PhD) or 6 years (MSc) of working experience in the (bio)pharmaceutical industry
  • Advanced knowledge within the area of Analytical Development
  • Expertise in Biologics DS and DP process development applying QbD principles
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in oral and written English; German is beneficial
  • Strong proficiency in digital technologies
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment

Tasks

  • Plan and document physical chemical method development, such as HPLC and CE
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and HSE requirements
  • Utilize software tools to enhance efficiency in analytical processes
  • Support the implementation and transfer of analytical methods to teams and partners
  • Collaborate with internal laboratories and cross-functional teams for analytical workflows
  • Design and execute physicochemical analytical approaches for DS, DP, and process intermediates
  • Interpret analytical results and apply data solutions to improve efficiency
  • Lead root cause investigations and resolve complex issues
  • Author and review scientific reports and support regulatory submissions
  • Act as an analytical expert during audits and inspections
  • Manage multiple priorities and communicate challenges proactively
  • Promote knowledge sharing and present results internally
  • Contribute to publications, presentations, and patents
  • Evaluate new analytical technologies and develop innovative methods
  • Align methods with scientific standards and contribute to digitalization efforts
