Manager - Software Sales Automotive Engineering Services(m/w/x)

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum 10+ years’ experience in automotive electronics business development or related experience
- Experience of selling Automotive Engineering Services with a focus on Embedded Software and Cloud
- Proficiency over German and/or French languages
- Proven experience in creating and executing business growth strategy
- Prior experience in design and/or sale of Infotainment, Digital Cockpit, Telematics, ADAS, and Connected Services
- Ability to work within a global matrixed organization and communicate at all levels
- Existing relationships within automotive executive network in a related field
- Master’s in Business Administration and/or additional qualifications
- Flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced/high-pressure environment
- Ability to assimilate information quickly, efficiently, and accurately
- Ability to take initiative while prioritizing and meeting deadlines
- Flexibility with high degree of determination and perseverance
- Excellent time management skills
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of international travel
- Willingness to work in Harman office, in Germany or UK
Tasks
- Develop and implement strategic sales action plans
- Conduct market analyses to assess customer needs and pricing
- Understand customer expectations and define internal targets
- Monitor and evaluate competitor activities
- Create unique selling points and value propositions
- Define target customers and build strategic Account Plans
- Identify key stakeholders and decision makers
- Drive new pursuits and early engagement activities
- Liaise with customer groups and related departments
- Execute pursuit strategy for new business opportunities
- Manage RFI/RFQ responses and commercial negotiations
- Meet with key clients to deliver sales presentations
- Assist customer leaders in maintaining relationships and closing deals
- Represent the company at trade association meetings
- Build a strong sales pipeline using Salesforce
- Create accurate sales forecasts
- Participate in executing the Automotive Engineering Services marketing plan
- Review achievements and discuss changes in sales strategies with leadership
