Manager, Procurement Consulting(m/w/x)

Requirements
- Master's or PhD with hands-on procurement consulting and project management experience
- Managing multiple projects and on-site teams with cost control and implementation responsibility
- Strong commercial understanding including P&L impact and connecting procurement to financial KPIs
- Excellent category knowledge including market dynamics, suppliers, cost drivers, and negotiation levers
- Familiarity with eProcurement/P2PSystems, spend analytics tools & data visualization
- Entrepreneurial spirit, ownership beyond project delivery, proactive growth contribution
- Representing firm's CoE Procurement as ambassador and thought leader
- Supporting pitches and proposals with commercial insight and market knowledge
- Team leadership and coaching capabilities in fast-paced environments, communication and influencing skills
- Native or business fluent German and English (C1); advantageous French or Spanish
- Willingness to work on client sites across Germany, EU, and internationally
- Master's Degree
Tasks
- Assess current procurement processes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders
- Identify improvement opportunities
- Analyze bottlenecks and inefficiencies
- Evaluate cost drivers and risks
- Design cost-effective procurement strategies
- Ensure compliance with regulations
- Improve EBITDA, working capital, and operational KPIs
- Conduct supplier evaluations
- Lead supplier negotiations
- Manage supplier contracts
- Benchmark against best practices
- Support supplier performance management
- Manage stakeholder relationships
- Articulate procurement value to leadership
- Prepare reports and forecasts
- Conduct spend analyses
- Lead change management initiatives
- Support organizational restructuring
- Integrate acquisitions
- Plan for operational disruptions
- Collaborate with the Austrian Managing Director
- Support sales and business development
- Build Interpath Advisory’s presence in Austria
- Engage with potential clients
- Build trusted client relationships
- Identify new business opportunities
- Participate in business development activities
- Expand knowledge and experience
- Work with Managing Directors on value chain topics
- Develop Procurement Consulting service offerings
- Strengthen market presence in Value Creation
