Requirements
- Technical apprenticeship or degree (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering or similar qualification)
- Strong organizational skills and enjoyment in structuring and improving workflows
- Experience in maintenance planning, ideally in a regulated environment
- Ability to work independently, think proactively, and take initiative
- Experience managing small projects or coordinating technical activities
- Very good German skills and ability to communicate in English
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment in working within a team
Tasks
- Optimize maintenance schedules and shutdown activities
- Prevent longer downtime and increase predictability
- Plan and coordinate scheduled maintenance and shutdowns
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and external providers
- Develop and maintain short- and long-term maintenance plans
- Consider deadlines, capacities, and resources
- Use central planning tools and overarching maintenance schedules
- Analyze and improve maintenance workflows
- Identify and implement sustainable optimizations
- Create standards and establish KPIs
- Align with internal and external partners
- Communicate maintenance windows and production changes
- Propose solutions and escalate issues
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of technical data
- Maintain spare part and component lists
- Keep technical documents and material allocations structured
- Ensure data is audit-ready
- Create purchase requisitions for critical spare parts
- Prioritize procurement needs
- Work closely with Purchasing and Supply Chain
- Oversee maintenance activities for quality and safety
- Ensure schedule adherence and optimal resource use
