As a Legal Counsel, you will navigate complex legal landscapes, ensuring compliance and guiding product growth. Your role involves advising on legal matters, shaping policies, and supporting teams with actionable legal insights in a fast-paced tech environment.

Requirements

• •Master’s degree in Law or equivalent legal qualification
• •At least 3 years of experience in legal department of IT or tech company, or comparable experience in law firm
• •Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• •Strong understanding of data privacy regulations (especially GDPR)
• •Experience in corporate law, intellectual property, AI law, or dispute resolution
• •Familiarity with SaaS business models and the IT industry
• •Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and strong sense of ownership
• •Ability to work with teams across multiple time zones and countries

Tasks

• •Advise on diverse legal matters across multiple jurisdictions
• •Collaborate with teams to ensure product compliance with laws
• •Ensure data practices meet GDPR and global privacy standards
• •Shape internal policies and best practices as the company grows
• •Draft, review, and negotiate agreements with vendors and partners
• •Assess new vendors for compliance with internal standards
• •Oversee intellectual property matters and protection
• •Prepare and maintain key legal documents and governance materials
• •Deliver internal legal training to various teams
• •Implement AI-related legal developments
