Requirements

  • Master’s degree in law
  • Additional qualifications acquired in US or UK
  • Admission to the Bar in Switzerland
  • Legal generalist experience
  • In-house counsel or attorney-at-law experience
  • Contract and commercial law experience
  • Knowledge in R&D, Labour Law, and Data Privacy (plus)
  • Business- and solution-driven approach
  • Accurate, high-quality legal advice
  • Sound judgment in developing legal solutions
  • Responsiveness and high degree of responsibility
  • Willingness to think “out of the box”
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work in cross-functional environment

  • Well-developed oral communication skills in German

Tasks

  • Provide comprehensive legal support to Business Units and central Functions
  • Handle contract and commercial law matters
  • Focus on public procurement law
  • Address R&D legal issues
  • Manage labor law
  • Ensure data privacy compliance
  • Manage and execute all types of contracts
  • Oversee potential disputes
  • Handle day-to-day business operations
  • Offer targeted legal advice for strategic goals
  • Safeguard company reputation and interests
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies
  • Communicate cross-functionally with legal counsels
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in Sales, SCM, Research, and Management
  • Provide training on legal and contractual topics
  • Develop and implement function-related standards and policies
  • Advise on resolving pre-litigation claims and disputes
  • Handle complex commercial litigation matters
  • Select, engage, and manage outside counsel
  • Collaborate with local legal counsels
