Requirements
- •Minimum 3 years of HF/usability experience or equivalent relevant experience
- •Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods
- •Knowledge of FDA, ISO, IEC, AAMI, and relevant usability standards
- •Strong knowledge of user-centered design practices
- •Experience coordinating with external consultancies for HF activities
- •Good technical writing skills
- •Ability to learn fast and take initiative
- •Passion for learning and understanding people's needs
- •Team spirit and collaborative work style
- •Confident speaking in front of others and moderating workshops
- •Valid EU or Austrian Work Permit
- •Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- •Masters’ degree in Human Factors / Usability Engineering or related field
- •Experience developing software as a medical device or digital health products
- •Experience interacting with FDA and regulatory bodies
- •Knowledge of app development and graphical user interface design
- •Knowledge of the diabetes industry or comparable health industries

- •Drive and coordinate human factors activities for mySugr
- •Run user studies to enhance user interfaces and experience
- •Minimize potential for use errors in mobile apps
- •Provide human factors input for risk management activities
- •Plan, document, and execute human factors activities across projects
- •Conduct ethnographic research and requirements definition research
- •Perform task analysis and use-related risk analysis
- •Execute usability studies and analyze market feedback
- •Analyze study data and perform root cause analysis
- •Write comprehensive study reports
- •Present design recommendations based on user feedback and data
- •Shape human factors processes to comply with usability standards
- •Prepare documentation for regulatory submissions
- •Review documentation and respond to inquiries from regulatory bodies
