- Experience developing software as a medical device, digital health products and/or mobile applications within a QMS
- Experience interacting with FDA and other regulatory bodies in the context of new product approval submissions and/or audits
- Knowledge of app development, graphical user interface design and prototyping
- Knowledge of the diabetes industry or other comparable health industries
Tasks
- Drive and coordinate human factors activities for mySugr
- Run user studies to enhance user interfaces and experience
- Minimize potential for use errors in mobile apps
- Provide human factors input for risk management activities
- Plan, document, and execute human factors activities across projects
- Conduct ethnographic research and requirements definition research
- Perform task analysis and use-related risk analysis
- Conduct usability studies and analyze market feedback
- Analyze study data and perform root cause analysis
- Write comprehensive study reports
- Present user interface design recommendations to large teams
- Shape human factors processes to ensure compliance with standards
- Prepare and review documentation for regulatory submissions
- Answer questions and provide rationales for regulatory agencies
