Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Natural Sciences, or comparable field
  • +10 years professional experience in strategy roles or management consulting
  • Industry experience in process industries / chemicals
  • Deep understanding of strategy development, strategic planning, execution and controlling
  • Strong analytical capabilities and excellent storytelling skills
  • Ability to independently develop strategies with BU/SBU leaders and General Managers
  • High communication skills and assertiveness
  • Fluent English skills and international mindset

Tasks

  • Develop and refine corporate strategy
  • Design Business Unit and Sub-Business Unit strategies
  • Lead strategic planning, execution, and controlling
  • Track and steer strategic initiatives
  • Challenge value creation processes
  • Serve as strategic advisor to the CEO
  • Support functional strategies (Finance, Operations, HR, Commercial Excellence)
  • Coordinate with Corporate Development and Strategy
  • Prepare and present board and supervisory board reports
  • Conduct scenario analyses and financial modeling
  • Manage strategic transformation programs
  • Support organizational development
  • Build and lead Market Intelligence function
  • Conduct M&A and JV activities
  • Perform M&A screening and valuation
  • Develop strategic analyses and integration concepts
