Foundry Design Support Engineer(m/w/x)
Supporting foundry customers with analog/mixed-signal IC design and PDKs. 3+ years IC design experience required. On-site training delivery, 4-day work week.
Requirements
- Technical education (Bachelor or Master) in Electronics, Physics, or Semiconductor Technology or comparable
- Several (3+) years of experience in analog or mixed signal IC design
- Expert knowledge in CADENCE design environment
- Expert knowledge in physical design verification with Siemens/Mentor/Calibre
- Basic knowledge in Synopsis design environments (advantageous)
- Basic knowledge in IC layout (advantageous)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Problem-solving mindset and analytical thinking
- High level of motivation and commitment
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Additional language skills (e.g. German) (advantageous)
Tasks
- Assist foundry customers with product development
- Support customers on PDK, design tools, and process models
- Provide technical support for CMOS and BCD technology
- Offer analog and mixed-signal IC design support
- Deliver technical customer trainings
- Support sales and marketing with customer requirements
- Translate customer needs into technology requirements
- Guide customers to suitable foundry solutions
- Support customers with tape-out procedures
- Manage PDK licensing for customers
- Ensure PDK licensing compliance with export control
- Co-develop process design kits (PDKs)
