Requirements
- Degree in electrical, automation, mechatronics engineering or similar
- 5+ years experience managing maintenance or engineering teams
- Knowledge of manufacturing process and equipment stability systems
- Understanding of manufacturing, lean principles, and Six Sigma
- Structured communication, prioritization, and coordination skills
- Continuous improvement orientation and high flexibility
- Ability to make rapid decisions under pressure
- Mandatory English proficiency and beneficial German skills
Tasks
- Lead and inspire the equipment engineering team
- Coach team members on their individual development
- Translate high-level strategic goals into actionable area plans
- Drive data-based discussions to reach clear decisions
- Monitor KPIs and guide managers on corrective measures
- Allocate resources and information to support task forces
- Manage first-level escalations with suppliers and stakeholders
- Coordinate communication revisions for the company's customers
- Contribute to quality audits and drive resulting actions
- Prioritize cost reduction and equipment robustness projects
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment
- Apply lean manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques
- Optimize tool uptime to improve cost of ownership
