Requirements

Tasks
- Liaise between Product teams and the Platform
- Translate product needs into platform capabilities
- Align skills and capacity with business priorities
- Lead and mentor an engineering team
- Support professional development for engineers
- Conduct regular check-ins with the team
- Provide guidance on performance improvement
- Lead recruitment activities
- Manage hiring, onboarding, and offboarding
- Collaborate with HR/Recruiting on hiring
- Manage third-party partnerships
- Oversee talent sourcing efforts
- Provide technical advisory support to engineers
- Guide engineers on solution design
- Advise on architectural patterns
- Prioritize the technical backlog
- Ensure adherence to platform standards
- Promote platform best practices
- Contribute to strategic platform direction
- Participate in budgeting for the platform
- Plan resources for the platform
- Make long-term investment decisions
- Build relationships across product teams
- Collaborate cross-functionally with technology
- Create a psychologically safe environment
- Promote open feedback within the team
