Requirements

  • •Completed studies or training with EHS focus
  • •Certification as a safety specialist (according to SFK-VO)
  • •Initial professional experience in an EHS function, ideally in an international environment
  • •Knowledge in occupational safety and relevant standards (ISO 45001, 14001) and ATEX
  • •Communication skills in German and English
  • •Ability to build relationships and influence internally and externally
  • •Additional training as waste/environment officer and/or hazardous materials officer

Education

Bachelor's degree
OR
Vocational certification

Tasks

  • •Serve as the EHS specialist for two locations
  • •Develop and maintain the EHS management system across Austria
  • •Coordinate with the European organization for ISO certification
  • •Manage EHS compliance programs to ensure legal adherence
  • •Advise the company on legislative changes affecting operations
  • •Create and maintain ATEX compliance and emergency plans
  • •Develop mandatory EHS training materials
  • •Participate in and facilitate safety committee meetings
  • •Enhance and implement safety programs for the locations
