Requirements

  • 3 years experience in development, design, testing of electromechanical equipment
  • German speaking and writing (native or C2)
  • English speaking and writing (min. B1, B2 preferred)
  • French speaking and writing (optional)
  • Proficient user of CAD design software, preferably Creo
  • Knowledge of machining / chip-removal processes (optional)
  • Knowledge of Hydraulics (optional)
  • Knowledge of welded structure design (optional)
  • Strong problem-solving mindset
  • Team-oriented with open communication

Tasks

  • Design concepts and equipment for nuclear power plant repairs
  • Create detailed mechanical designs for complex environments
  • Support development, testing, and qualification of new equipment
  • Participate in customer reviews and on-site activities
  • Contribute to First-Of-A-Kind (FOAK) projects
  • Drive products from prototype to maturity
  • Prepare comprehensive project documentation
  • Provide ongoing support for existing products
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate spare parts
  • Train technicians
  • Collaborate across departments, sites, and international teams
  • Foster cross-country collaboration within the organization
