Requirements

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
  • Professional experience in Demand Planning or CS&L
  • Analytical thinking and business understanding
  • Service orientation, improvement and digital mindset
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Knowledge in Excel, SAP, SAC, SAS, o9

Tasks

  • Own the demand forecasting process
  • Support planning and inventory optimization
  • Meet service level targets
  • Provide inputs for the IBP process
  • Drive transparency of drivers and assumptions
  • Interface with cross-functional departments weekly
  • Develop and maintain statistical demand forecasts
  • Improve consensus demand forecasts continuously
  • Analyze historical sales data and trends
  • Evaluate promotions and seasonality
  • Lead cross-functional forecasting discussions
  • Challenge forecasting assumptions for latest plans
  • Monitor and analyze forecast accuracy KPIs
  • Govern action plans with cross-functional teams
  • Prepare inputs and templates for IBP reviews
  • Consolidate data for monthly demand reviews
  • Explain changes in demand plans
  • Maintain master data in forecasting systems
  • Manage planning parameters in relevant systems
  • Support deployment of new forecasting technologies
  • Participate in new projects and workflows
