Requirements

• •Master degree, PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Material Sciences, or comparable
• •Experience in semiconductor manufacturing and process technology
• •Problem solving skills and Six Sigma or 8D experience
• •Programming experience and complex data analysis affinity
• •Cross-functional team leadership and teamwork skills
• •Adaptability to fast changing environments and project work
• •Confident writing and speaking in English and German
• •Mind-set according to automotive standards in semiconductor industry

Tasks

• •Monitor and improve manufacturing defect performance
• •Collaborate with engineering and QA teams
• •Enhance process yield through defect engineering
• •Perform physical failure analyses with specialized teams
• •Conduct root cause analysis on defect events
• •Manage material disposition and improvement activities
• •Utilize advanced analysis methods like FIB and EDX
• •Maintain defect-related databases and software applications
• •Optimize inspection tools and engineering applications
• •Report defect events to internal and external stakeholders
• •Train operators and engineers on defect topics
• •Implement AI and ML for automated decision making
